Throwback TV: No Problem!

Published on December 3rd, 2010

If you get a chance, check out The BFI’s Mediatheque on The Southbank – I went down there for a couple of hours and checked out the gems in the ‘Black Britain’ collection. I watched a few short films, and then started browsing some of the shows that were on in the 80s and came across No Problem!

Aired on Channel 4 from 1983-85, No Problem! was a sitcom about a Jamaican family that came to England and set up their home in Willesden. The show was written by Farrukh Dhondy and Mustapha Matura.

Hi Gabrielle, thanks for posting this, I was a HUGE fan of this show back in the day and even went to see a taping live once.
