Shimmy Shimmy is a dancehall/bashment and caribbean music blog based out of London, UK, that’s been running since 2007. Alongside that, DJing and hosting radio shows, the SS family also produced its first print zine, ‘No Ice Cream Sound’ earlier this year.
The brand new tee collection is a collaboration between Shimmy Shimmy founder, Susannah Webb, and top-notch screen-printer Craig Currahee, springing from a love of dancehall’s visuals: from the iconic figure of Shabba Ranks, to the talented cover artist and illustrator, Limonious. The 7 tees dip into 3 decades of dancehall goodness, ready to roll for carnival 2011! All the tees are hand-printed and strictly limited edition.
